Food... food.... food....

So - I'm sitting at my desk, at work - just finishing up my Garden Salad with Rare Roast Beef - as bought from Saks cafe down the road from work. Yay for only eating fresh veggies, fruit, meat and eggs for the last 3 days.

Anyways - on my lunch break I start browsing the blogger sites as I do, hitting next blog and just seeing what comes up. I then hit a food flood (this is what I call it when blogger decides it wants to show me just a number of blogs about food - in a row). When I came across A Cook's Quest and saw some really nice recipes, I decided to just run with it and see what else she was reading - this led me to What Meagan's Making.

Delicious looking Apple Cinnamon Pancakes on a plate

And oh wow - the Amazing looking Apple Cinnamon Pancakes. I'm now sitting at my desk and just imagining the taste of what looks like incredible pancakes and sounds like an incredible flavour....

*deep breath* I can't make then for 5 weeks, but when that 5 weeks is up - one of my first spoils will be these pancakes.

Seeing these sites of course reminded me what I saw most recently on Diana Takes a Bite, which was an Amazing Looking BLT - and wow - did that make me hungry.

Diana Takes a Bite has to be one of my new favourite blogs. With every recipe post - she accompanies it with a charming/interesting/quirky anecdote. It's entertaining and delicious :D

So - that my food blog post and how I feel about my 5 week challenge at the moment. Good about sticking to it so far... bad about cheating on it tonight (meeting the boyfriend's parents for the first time - didn't really want to sit there looking all picky about my food - we're going to Mexican) and inspired there are so many delicious options when I'm done with challenge and expanding my options again in 5 weeks. Yay.
